Shopping For Bargain Fabrics

Shopping for bargain fabrics is one of my pastimes, and I’m always on the lookout for sales and clearances around my area. The picture above is at one of my favorite places–a fabric store in Evanston, Illinois, which has tons of fabrics and remnants on sale all the time. Although not all of the fabrics here are bargain priced, there are still bargains to be found here. The best part is that they have several other large (connecting) rooms full of everything sewing related. One room is full of all the trims and accessories you could imagine with a great clearance rack, another has upholstery fabrics, while another has books and patterns galore. This is my favorite place for buying trims and accessories at bargain prices. They really move their inventory so it is always fun looking through their ever-changing inventory.
